Dirty Loops - Rolling In the Deep (Adele Cover)
These guys funk the hell out of this song! This guy’s voice as well….. *Burys head in hands*
Got 2:00 mins into this and thought I had to share the love. D’Angelo is back…. I know, I’m a few days late on that one, but I didn’t think the audio was good enough quality to shout about. Here is a really good quality live performance courtesy of Okay Player

A couple of weeks ago I posted something about Lee Fields being the coolest man alive, after I saw him advertising a Dutch magazine via Vimeo. Well, if you read my blog you’ll know that I’m a big fan of Lee Fields and this post is related. When Molly and I went to see Lee Fields at the Worldwide Awards, hosted by Giles Peterson the Menahan Street Band supported him and also played along with his tracks. In total they must have been on stage well over an hour and they were fantastic. So here are a few more details about the band and also a track from their album, ‘Make The Road While Walking
“The Menahan Street Band is a collaboration of ten musicians from Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings (Dave Guy, Homer Steinweiss, Fernando Velez, Bosco Mann), El Michels Affair (Leon Michels, Toby Pazner), Antibalas (Nick Movshon, Aaron Johnson) and The Budos Band (Mike Deller, Daniel Fodder), brought together by musician/producer Thomas Brenneck (Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings, Budos Band, Amy Winehouse).”

New Artist Alert - Dr Rubber Funk
Trouble Woman feat. Roachford (Acoustic Version - Live at BBC London) by Rubberfunk
I’ve just been looking at a few blogs and this producer came up from Newcastle. The vocalists on both tracks have fantastic Northern Soul tones and I’m hooked on both tracks already
